Don’t get turned off by its name. Shark Point isn’t the location for one of those shark survival thrillers. It actually gets its name from the docile Leopard Sharks that have made Shark Point their home.
Shark Point is quite a popular dive site since it allows you to swim with Leopard Sharks. However, there’s more to this dive spot than just these docile sharks. You can also spot some colorful tropical fish during your dive. Shark Point also has a large limestone pinnacle and sand coral that you might enjoy seeing.
Koh Racha Yai
While many tourists may flock to the island of Koh Racha Yai for its beautiful beaches, it’s also a prime location for diving. When diving in Koh Racha Yai, you have the opportunity to spot some exotic marine life and colorful coral formations.
You can even see some elephants when diving in Koh Racha Yai. Well, not real elephants but rather beautiful elephant statues that were put there in 2006.

King Cruiser Wreck
There’s a certain thrill to exploring a shipwreck. And that’s why the King Cruiser Wreck is a popular dive site in Phuket.
In 1997, the King Cruiser passenger ferry was making a routine trip to the Phi Phi Islands. However, it turned out that it would be its last trip as the ferry now lies at the bottom of the sea. Now, many divers visit the site to experience the exciting yet eerie feeling of exploring a shipwreck.
